Hello! My name is Danny Glynn. This is my fifth year teaching at Germantown Elementary School.  This year I am teaching Social Studies for grades 5th through 8th for the fourth year. I am very excited  for this year as I have a specialization in History. I also coach 5/6 grade girl's basketball and help with 7/8 girl's basketball.

This summer I got married to my best friend and can now call Ashley my wife!! We are currently living outside of Okawville. I love all sports and have a passion for being outdoors.

I grew up living in the Okawville area until I was 14. After my eighth grade year my family and I moved down to Arley, Alabama. Down there, I attended Curry Hish School and went to the University of Alabama for 3 years. ROLL TIDE!! At Alabama I was majoring in Accounting, but in the middle of the second year I learned that I was not someone who could sit at a desk all day. I then decided to move back to Illinois and transfer to Greenville College, where I graduated with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education.

I changed my major to education because I have a passion for working with children. Since becoming a teacher, that passion has only grown. As a teacher I want to create a classroom environment where all students feel welcome. I want to engage students in their learning, and maximize their potential each and every day.
